Arrived at pavilion at roughly 10:30am or so....greeted with 2 Lamborghini Gallardo first,both in Giallo Midas.
Then walk a bit and holy cow,30 Ferrari's!!
That include 1 96 F355 GTB(Rosso Corsa),1 95 F355 GTS(Rosso Corsa with black top),2x F355 Spyder(Giallo Modena and Rosso Corsa),plenty of F430,360 etc,2 Scuderia with dealer plate on it(Very loud),Ferrari 612,2x Ferrari California,1x Ferrari 456,hmmm that about it
The sound when they leave is just NICE,what automotive heaven would have had sound like for me:D
Too bad no F355 have very loud exhaust,someone have to install something like gothspeed or Kresiegg etc etc to sound as loud as WES 5 F430 B in Grigo colour with Scuderia Style Exhaust.

Weirdest Day In My Life,8 November 2009

OK,let me sum it up today have good and bad thing happend,a lot of it in fact.Quite an up and down day.
As usual,arrive at Low Yat Plaza@10am or so,open the shop etc.Anyway,today Coby did visit me at about 3:40PM or so i guess and we had lunch at the new place that we both think it is good,food are nice enough and the ambient are ok for talking yet the price are quite nice(Compare to our old benchmark,the not so long ago closed Causweway Bay,still some of the best one but closed),
And so let just say,after that something bad happened.A bit of a really embarrassing thing happened,i run for toilet after that,right after coming out of the restaurant...........
And let just say,i poo two times after that and to make it worse,it is in both my pants and underwear,ok too much detail here and to make it worse,i sound like a bunch of shit LOL
Anyway,this is over now so let not mention about it.
Good thing really do happened at the wrong time.Just after coming out of toilet in federal hotel,saw a White GTR with plate WQY 35, Indian driver,moded with some carbon fiber bits and Amuse Titanium Exhaust System.Wow but i am rushing for Time Square to wash the but since federal hotel don't have water spray thing that the purpose is to spray water into ass there on the 1st floor toilet.So,rush to times square,saw a Ferrari 360 Spider before going into times square but we are in rush so just had a peek and go into toilet@8th floor.After done all the business,me and coby walk up to see the ferrari 360 spider in detail.There are guards behind so coby kinda don't want to look at it but i did take a close glance,it is a 360 Spider in Rosso Corsa,Embossed Scuderia Ferrai Shield,5151 plated and interior is tan or is it cream over with red stitching and piping,daytona seat,red carpet and two tone dash of black and tan or cream.
No pic BTW because never lug camera with me when i am in a rush.I guess someone did take a picture of it.
After that,done,we got back to LYP and Coby buy himself some disc etc and leave after that.
Anyway,at about 8:20PM or so,me and Bong go to Concourse of LYP to play Dirt 2 Demo again on the eyefinifty setup/windows 7 launch.The first thing i noted are............I saw Chassandra there!!!She look good of course as usual,she wear a purple shirt and those black tight pants that sort of stuff(Sock stuff,no idea what is it called) and wear a black shoe as well.She did not bring any bag BTW.I did take a glance at her,she did as well but we never said Hi and she did walk away to somewhere after that.
Don't know what is wrong but something must had gone really wrong for her to have this reaction.Anyway,i am kinda glad thing happened this way cause all you need to do is just to read the starting of this entry,LOL.
Well after that,of course i do play Dirt 2 Demo again but cannot concentrate at all when the image of Chassandra is in my head so i am kinda still in shock state and i have to restart like 5 times and did managed to post one 1:07 and 1:06 to Bong's 1:05.03.
So what happened today is,I saw Chassandra outside of school for the first time for as long as i know her which shall work out to be about 2years.
And the music that played in my head of course is James Blunt,You Are Beautiful and this particular sentences:I saw your face in a crowded place and i don't know what to do cause i will never be with you.That sum up everything.
Really sad but that is the reality and so accept it as it is.
After that,me and family had dinner at pudu wai sek kai.
Well,the last bad thing happened are,saw one foreign worker piss in front of me on public places!!!!WTH!!!!This is the first time i had ever saw it and it really do stinks,yikes.
That about sum up an unusual sunday.

Just finish a documentary lately.The title is:Love The Beast,release this year and is done by Hollywood superstar,Eric Bana.

This is a very cool,documentary.Have a very good depth,very deep sense of depth.
Hell,Eric bana even visit some of the most hardcore petrol head,at least star petrol head,Jeremy Clarkson and Jay Leno.
The whole document is mostly about petrol head/car guy and their obsession.
I feel very touched,excellent stuff.Will watch it again.
I give it a 9/10.Near perfect,sum up petrol head nicely.

Hey all,officially announce something that i always wanted to do.
As most of you know,i am in Team BTB which is a benchmark team that is local based but none of us really go serious on oc so time to announce.
I am going to make Team BTB Pot Rev 1!!!
As i got tired/fedup with liquid/air solution,they are no longer fulfilling my need as i need massive clock to keep up with competition.
So time for Team BTB Pot Rev 1:)
Currently still in planning/budgeting stage so consider this as starting of this project which may take long time but hopefully somehow it work out and i am able to pull 5.8ghz clock on E8600:)

My In Win 350W death during gaming.
So after that i try to scout for used HX520W/HX620W but there are no one selling on market.
So,i end up getting this:

From thundermatch at quite a nice price which i don't feel that comfortable to disclose on public:)
So far,it is rocking.It is freaking silent man,i really like this psu from everything.Nippon Chemicon cap,2x8 pin PCIE so this is not bad for its price range i would say.
So far so good and i am happy,hopefully it will last me quite a while before it fail.

Budget Gaming Rig Buyer Guide and a few thing

It had been quite some time since my last post so here is my new post.
And first thing first,Happy New year.
Some update:My E8500 E0 Q822A595 is sold!!Sad thing is,no one had E8600 in stock so am still hunting for it.

OK,crap is done and done.Now,get into business.IT is about time again for rig buyer guide and today,i am doing budget gaming rig guide.As usual,my guide require oc to bring the best out of your parts.
With all the interesting parts,like Core I7 and Pheonem II released over the pass 2months or so,thing had move on.While they are good and nice but they are over budget for this guide.So,we stick to good ole still kicking ass Socket 775.
Today,I set the budget to RM2000 but it is flexible as i will suggest some better parts thus making less compromise but believe me,the price premium is well worth it.As usual,my suggestion is making minimum compromise on component,i am more on oc,overall parts quality rather then squeezing everything into one small box or compromise a lot on one area for something else,like say gc.All of my suggestion require oc of some sort to get the best value.
So,let's cut all the crap short and went into guide:
Intel E5200 RM280
DFI Blood Iron P35 T2RL RM330
2x2GB Kingston DDR 2 800 value ram RM160

Why i recommend these stuff?
Processor:Intel E5200
I choose this processor mainly due to the fact that it is very ocble.I mean,for below RM300 retail,you get a processor base around 45nm wolfdale but cut down to 2MB cache,800FSB and no SSE4.1 instruction.Expect it to hit 333x12.5 on some ok ish chip and more on better chip,worst should be 3.8ghz or so.So all in all,it is good performer and it is cheap but one issue:The FSB is rather low which mean less bandwidth.

Mobo:DFI Blood Iron P35 T2RL
I choose this mobo because it is still in production.Make by DFI,the legendary ocer board maker during s939 era and that is for a good reason,oscar wu work for them which is a good thing.This is actually a lot of board for the money.This board can hit 600FSB with good processor!!And do i mention,this budget board come with advance oc option,like clock skew and gtl ref which come in handy for some advance tweaking.

Ram:2x2GB Kingston DDR 2 800 value ram
We are working with tight budget so there are no budget for some well bin ram.This ram is the bread and butter ram.Current ram should be able to clock ~960mhz CL5 or so,a little more or less,depend on luck.

GC:Palit Radeon HD4850 512MB
Need me to say more??This is the best gc for budget and mid range gaming currently,able to run 1280x1024~1680x1050 with reasonable good setting on most title with one exception,gta iv but it is another story.

Cooler:Sunbeamtech CCF
This is one of the very good cooler on market now.This have one of the best bundle around,like tim,fan controller and a high flow fan.The thing i don't like is the mounting,there are no backplate but well,it just work and work.Alternative would be deepcool killerwhale.

Optical Drive:LG SATA DVD-RW
Simple reason,a drive that just work and work.

Hard Drive:WD Caviar Blue 640GB SATA HDD
This in my opinion is the sweetspot for hdd now.And this model,is not the green power therefore little faster.I think it is ideal scenario for case like that where one HDD is boot drive and also data drive.

PSU:Silverstone ST40F
This is the psu of choice for budget build.This is one of a very good 400W PSU around and it is just right for a rig like that but there are no huge future upgrade and no active pfc.Still,it is good for its price and that really matter.

Case:Cooler Master Elite 334
This is the best case for its price.The airflow is reasonable good and quality is hmmmm normal but the styling is not bad at all.Recommend to get one more fan as intake then you have a mini case that happened to have good airflow.

Sigh.........I miss the chance to own OEM E8600 Q820xxx for RM660!!This processor is fucking fantastic!!!It can do 4ghz IBT,well OCCT with linpack engine@1.21V!!!Geez,imagine plug and play,set 406mhz and voila,4060mhz that pass IBT without any effort!!!!!!How awesome is that.
But the catch is:This is not a sub zero chip as it do good on air but there are a few notable exception out there.If i am not mistaken,Hiwa from OCX have a very very good chip that do 5.1ghz@low vcore and done 6ghz+!!!!That is killer,man.
And worse is:I got buyer for E8500 line up(At least i can promise him,cross finger first)
Now i am hoping for some E8600 OEM pooping out and hope it will do 5.2ghz under liquid but need to solve some efficiency issue,argh
And last of all,wish everyone a happy holiday.

My E8500 so far tested,max out@4.94ghz,520x9.5.This is done with 1.3vtt and 1.73vcore set,1.7v real before droop.Not a gem chip but i guess it scale well to vcore increases.
Here is the one and only PI i can do at that speed:

Efficient=45.4k which is not ideal when compare to my usual 45.2k ish-45.3k.
I will try 1.4vtt some time soon.
Anyway,i announce something.If this chip can propel me into 8's SPI 1M,I won't sell it.
All i need is more or less 5070mhz,hopefully i am there with GTL Ref and VTT tweaking.

Singarpoe F1 Race

This year,something big is on F1 scene.
As everyone know,yesterday was Singapore f1 first night race!
I watched it,I can say is,it is not a bad race at all.The whole thing is entertaining to me.
But Nelson Piuqet crash give alanso a chance to score his first victory.
I was kinda sad that ferrari don't get a point and raikkionen is DNS.
Before piuquet accident,iceman is doing well and almost there as he cut down .4's gap on a lap!!!That is very very brilliant drive last day.
Kimi and Ferrari,don't give up and as nike ad,Nothing Is Impossible.
Hope to see Kimi repeat what last year but i am just simply asking for too much.
Go,Kimi,Go!!!You are the fastest out there!You have what it take to win the session,just go for it!!!

Just browse forum and there are two item i want.
First is:Cellshock DDR 2 1000CL4,D9GKX ram.
The price is dammm cheap!!!But think again,there are nothing wrong with 2 sets of ram that had serve me well right??And bryan is buying 4kits so i guess he can lend me 1 kit.
Second:EVGA Geforce 8800GTS A3
This is the infamous A3 revision 8800GTS.That guy sell at uber cheap price of RM250 but booked.This is still one of the card i never had and want to have one some day.50% oc is easily doable and the look is just good.New Nvidia GC in my opinion have gone downhill in term of look,no offense yeah.

And one more thing,I am so disappointing in you,Cass(Should i feel so?).

Middle of holiday

My definition of True Love
At my present stage,i must say true love is a feel,kind of.It is the desire between two persons to be together.They are ready to sacrifice for each other,without anything in return.This is tiring but satisfy.

Love Forever?
Well,for this i cannot answer.But from my opinion,it is possible but both party must sacrifice a lot to be forever.So if you are not prepare to commit to a relationship,don't jump on yet.

Love is wonderful and perfect?
I don't think so.Love feel wonderful and perfect but the reality is there are no such thing as perfect so don't be too blinded by korean tv show where everything is perfect.

Why i go liquid cool

Some of you may wonder why i go liquid cool??

I go liquid cool because i can go.It offer me a lot of advantage that outweigh the cons.A lot of people might think liquid cool is risky but i can say is as long as leak test properly and installation is right,thing will be fine.It does take quite some maintainace through.Remember to drain the loop before moving your rig around.

The main reason is i like to try out new thing.Currently,i don't have any form of cooling so why not liquid cool instead of buying a Xigmatek?Liquid cool is not that complicated once you do some homework.I like the idea of it.

Cost
A typical liquid cool setup cost RM600 or so so i think,why not make it cheap?So i figure RM400 won't be that hard.The key is to use alternative parts.Like car heater core,aquarium pump,generic tubing.

Leak
I don't think of that issue for now.A leak won't occur if you maintain your system properly.A lot of overclocker don't have the fear of this so so do i.

Performance gain
From what i know,a decent liquid cool can shave 6 - 10 C from top air cooler.So i should except to be 60 C under load@4ghz(On air is 70 C) with my current chip which will get replace soon.

Upgradeableblity
I like the fact that liquid cool is easily upgradeable for more performance.You can expand your loop by buying more block and a more powerful pump so i like this fact.I might get a Swiftech MCW60 graphic card waterblock in future to liquid cool my graphic card.

Easy turn into benchmarking cooling
Liquid cool can be easily turn into sub ambient temperature.All you need is just put ice in reservoir to chill it but beware of condensation through.This is what i am after,sub ambient to do 5ghz SPI.

Conclusion
As you can see,liquid cool is a efficient way of removing heat.A bonus is that you look kind of cool and your rig is stand out of bread and butter rig other than better performance that liquid cool offer so that is my bonus.

I love overclocking!So the more clock speed,the more heat it produce and a more aggressive way of cooling is necessary.After using air cool for a while,i am not that happy with the performance but the Xigmatek SHDT1283 is good,however i like to try new thing.So here is it,the official word of i am going for liquid cool!

Here is the component planned:
Swiftech Apogee GT-This is decent block for its price
2x Yate Loon or any decent 120mm fan-Reasonable airflow with tolerable noise
2x120mm Fan Car Heater Core-Budget alternative however need good fan and shroud to perform,who know if it is able to match thermochill
Custom fan shroud-Bryan will help me make one,hope it is good
Homemade Acrylic Reservoir-Bryan will help me make it as well
Nirox Pump-On a budget so got to opt for this.Reasonable ceiling wall with low price.
Generic Tubing-Generic tubing is cheap

I think i will go for 1/2 inch tube setup.Hope the outcome won't disappoint me.Will post pic once installation is done.

Various way of cooling a computer

As most of you know,i like to overclock.Basically,overclock is increase your front side bus or multiplier to make your processor run beyond rated speed.The higher the clock speed,the hotter the processor run.So in order to remove the heat,there are various way of cooling.We will start from the basic way to the most extreme way.Sorry as it is rather rough.

Air Cool
This is the most basic form cooling and come with processor.This is rather simple as it only involve a heatsink and a fan.The best value for money air cooler is Xigmatek SHDT1283.The formula is simple,the heat go to the heatsink and the fan/air flow remove it away.

Liquid Cool
This is a good but little exotic form of cooling.Basically,it work like a car,using water as a source if heat remover.This form of cooling is a little complicated.it involve water pump,water block,water,radiator,fan and tline/reservoir.Because it involve water so the chance of failure is higher.When a leak occur,most likely your motherboard will fail.Liquid cool work in this way,cpu heat go to waterblock and is remove via radiator.

Single Stage Phase Change
This is a huge leap from liquid cooler.It can cool our component down to -50C or so!Because the temperature is sub zero and it is lower than ambient so insulation is needed to prevent condensation.This is basically a refrigerator on your computer.It use different phase to remove heat away.

Dry Ice
This is the most easy way to leap into sub zero cooling.it also need insulation to prevent from condensation.This is a very simple form of cooling to use and it is cheap.This involve pot and can cold down to -90 C.This is good for occasion extreme benchmarker like me as it is cheap.Will venture into Dry Ice soon.

Dual Stage Phase Change
This is the more complicated version of single stage phase change.Depend on refrigent use,it can cold down to -110C or so.

Liquid Nitrogen
This is the last stop of cooling.It can cold down to -190 C but this is depend on cold bug of your chip,usually at 100 C or so.This is same as Dry Ice but it use liquid nitrogen instead of dry ice.

What is overclocking?
Overclocking is making your computer run faster then stock speed.The higher speed you run,the more heat it is going to produce so there are various way of cooling.

Why to overclock?
There are a variety of reason to overclock,some is too poor to buy higher end hardware,gaming is laggy,benchmarking,get more value for money.......

Benchmarking
Overclocking often involve benchmarking.Benchmarking is some program that allow 2 computer performance to be compare and we ofter race in benchmarking.

Why i overclock?
I overclock for benchmarking and daily usage/get more value for money and currently,i am starting to go hardcore in overclocking.

Type of benchmarking
There are several type of benchmarking.The longest benchmark around and my favorite benchmarking is Super PI,it is simple but fun and very sensitive to increase in cpu speed.Then,there are wprime,cinebench,pifast,mpi for 2d benchmarking.Then there are 3dmark for 3d benchmark.There are 3dmark 01se,3dmark03,3dmark05,3dmark06 and 3dmark vantage soon with aquamark as well.

Does overclock have sense?
In my opinion,there are no sense in hardcore overclocking,everyone just keep racing benchmark and spend ton and ton of $$$ for benchmark/overclocking purpose hardware/cooling.

The Story of Terence and Amanda

When I first got to know of Terence, he was at the peak of his life. Soon to be the heir of a very large public listed company in Malaysia, he had his life cut out for him.

Whether he was going to work or not, he was going to live a comfortable life.

He drove the flashiest BMWs, frequented the VIP areas of the coolest clubs and being a guy, spent money on every gadget his heart desired. Terence knew how to enjoy money.Guys like that appear on the radar quite quickly for some of the hottest girls in the night life circuit.

One girl took notice, her name was Amanda and she was by any means one of the hottest girls that any guy would ever lay their eyes on.

She could walk from the South Court to the North Court of MidValley and at least 10 guys to turn their heads and look at her... she was as hot as this.
Amanda was ambitious.

She knew exactly what she wanted in life and it wasn't a flourishing career up the corporate ladder, it was security... financial security to be exact and she saw that in Terence.

Terence wasn't perfect and as a person had his own set of flaws like any other man, but it didn't matter... the bank account that his family came with was enough to make up for it and to be fair... there's no cry no foul for Amanda liking that part of him.

Donald Trump's beautiful wife was one asked if she would have fallen for Donald Trump if he wasn't rich.

She replied
"Do you think Donald would fall for me if I weren't beautiful?"Which hit the point exactly.

Amanda whether with her beauty or charm or personality managed to eventually hook Terence.

Months into the relationship, Amanda got pregnant.

Terence's high profile family struggled to deal with the problem.

They at one point considered having an abortion but Amanda would refuse anything less than a marriage so that the baby had a proper home to stay with.

Tied with Terence's mistake, Terence decided to go ahead with the marriage and eventually got the support of his parents. Some people wonder whether it was Amanda's plan all along to get Terence to marry her to tie him down.... but that is a question nobody but Amanda will know how to answer.

A few years later into the marriage, a crisis hit Terence's family business.... the 1997 financial crisis to be exact. Just before 1997, many Malaysian companies were on an expansion path with the KLSE being one of the highest traded markets in the world in terms of volume.

To expand, you need money and when you're a huge public listed company, getting banks to lend you money isn't too much of a problem.Now once you've decided that you want to borrow money to grow your business, the next question lies on the Cost of Borrowing or simply... the interest rate.

The interest rate in Malaysia is relatively higher than the interest rate from the many developed countries overseas so many local companies borrowed in USD from overseas banks, Terence's family business was no different.

When the financial crisis hit, the ringgit depreciated from RM2.5 to USD1.00 to something like RM5-6 to USD1.00.

That means if you borrowed RM100,000,000 before the crisis, that figure inflated to RM200,000,000 after the crisis. Terence's family business tanked overnight and his father was declared a bankrupt.Terence's life was quick to change. He no longer spent as much as he did and he went out to find a job. Amanda too had to find one.

Fortunately for Terence, he was smart and he went to a good university so finding a job wasn't too much of a problem for him. Amanda too had graduated with a degree but working wasn't really quite her thing, she found herself in a bit of a fix.

Just two years later, Terence caught Amanda cheating on him with an older man. He was dumbfounded and depressed.

What the hell was going on that this woman he had a baby boy with had to be cheating on him with an older man.

Some say... it was because of the financial security that wealthier older man had... some say... love is blind.

They eventually filed for divorce. Terence kept the only child they had and Amanda went on to marry the older man to live the life of a socialite.

The story of Terence and Amanda got me thinking about one thing... about the ups and downs of life.

It is inevitable that in anyone's life, especially where business is involved, there will be ups, there will be downs. Richard Branson's successful Virgin Atlantic airlines had almost failed once but today stands tall with a fleet of aircraft and a brand name to die for.

Closer to home, I have met many rich businessmen with wealth in the millions. Many of which have told me how they had succeeded, then failed... then picked themselves up to succeed again.

People will always have their ups and downs (and don't get me wrong.. ups and downs need not be measured simply with dollar signs).

I feel that right now I may perhaps on a small scale be experiencing my 'UP' or at least on the way "UP". One day... I may very well face my down. Things can and will go wrong.

Hence, the girl I will eventually end up with need not be really pretty.

She need not be cute. She need not be hot. She need not be sexy.

The one thing she needs to be though is strong and committed.

Strong enough to give me her strength when I am down... and committed enough to sit with me through the storm.

Instead of all my boring benchmark and my shopping adventure and stuff,today i want to turn my attention to social dominant.
This will be one hell long of article so please bear with me and drop a comment.This might not be the best article for this subject because my understanding of ladder theory is rather rough.

What is Social Dominant?
Social Dominant is pretty much the perfect guy to girl.This only apply to male and to those who go for pretty girl.

What make you and what don't
To be a social dominant person you need to be:
a.)Reasonable attractive in term of physical appearance
b.)You are top person in your field.(CEO,successful doctor and lawyer,top student.....)
c.)You are a smart person and you give intelligence response
d.)You know how to handle your problem
e.)You are not a slave for girl

What don't make you a social dominant person:
a.)You are unattractive
b.)You don't have social dominant personality
c.)You are the bottom of your field
d.)Most important,you are daft and you won't give intelligent respone
e.)You are a slave for girl

As you can see,you are pretty much perfect when you are social dominant person and you can go after any chicks in the world(Angela Jolie and all the A list).
Real Life Example(Just a scene):
There are a boy,name his A and there are a girl,well name her as B.
A is a huge boy,his force is enough to make you dead by pushing alone.He have the anger of a social dominant person.But he only give nonsense response and he is
the last place in class with an average of 30%!That is rock bottom.
B is a reasonable attractive girl.She is friendly and she have a lot of people around her.She could make you fall for her and drive you crazy.
One fine day,A is taking B stuff and show off to people!
Imagine,someone who is male and taking girl stuff while girl is doing nothing!Like Jeremy Clarkson taking his spouse bag and his spouse is doing nothing.Funny is it?

Case study
A already make a lot of mistake.That make him a slave for girl.And he is brainless so he is a very non social dominant person.He probably stuck in friend ladder and definitely won't be the potential partner of b,even if male extinct in the world.

What about non social dominant person?
Will a non social dominant person have a gf/spouse?Yes but have to settle for less.

My PC Fair experience and Point Of View

PC Fair just over recently.I am there for Saturday and Sunday.For me,the nearest place is KL Convention Center and i walk to there from Low Yat Plaza via Pavilion,the distance is quite nice actually.Below is my experience and my pov(Point Of View) on PC Fair.

Saturday

Vincent meet me up at Low Yat at 6pm or so.Then we go to eat nasi lemak at oldtown.Then we proceed our journey to this pc fair.After a 20minutes walk,finally there.The crowd is not a lot,quite a pleasure consider what am i use to at pc fair.So,go to pc fair Saturday,the crowd is lesser when compare to Sunday.And to my surprise,team KOC is there to do demo at Abit and Gecube booth!So i walk up and greet my friend,coolice then ask him some detail about what is him testing.He is testing Abit AX78,X2 5000+ BE,his Team Xtreem OPB,Gecube Radeon 3870X2.He only get 13k 3dmark06 and 135k aquamark thanks to AMD platform which bottleneck the graphic card.And all this on chill water!!Then i continue to walk around pc fair.Due to time constraint we only manage to walk g floor.And i buy Tuniq TX2 and a headphone with mic for RM20+RM20,not bad.We proceed to walk back to Low Yat Plaza at 9:30PM.

Sunday

Today,Vincent meet me at Low Yat Plaza at 4pm or so.Then we proceed our way to pc fair.After a quick walk we are there.I am there mostly to see Team KOC doing their showcase.The crowd is a lot as usual for Sunday pc fair.Sadly,me and Bryan put each other plane so we don't meet up at there.After a while,time to go to 3rd floor.I visit Olympus booth and try E3 + 14-35 F2,fantastic combo but i won't get 14-35 F2 due to the rather short range.And i bump into mhfahfur from pm and we both chit chat for a while.We leave at 6:50PM or so.

Point Of View

PC Fair is a nice place to walk around and see.If you want to buy rig or laptop there,do enough of homework before hand or else sure will be con.If you are buying small item,it is nice and will be cheap.If you want to buy anything big,go to Low Yat Plaza,it will be a lot more convince,espically during PC Fair period.All the crowd is at pc fair so you can shop without hassle and you know who sell you the item.It is also a lot easier to carry all the item back.PC Fair is a huge hassle when you buy something costly and big.Will i attend PC Fair in future,yes but i won't buy anything big.This pc fair is quite disappointed,there are no any good hardware to show other than what Team KOC show but AMD is bottlenecking ATI Radeon 3870X2.

I think it is around 8am,i am going to the last day of my schooling year which is mid November.I am in my class.I am crying i think.The cry feel so real,i feel real down.Feel real sad because i am going to separate from someone which i guess will happened in that real day.And after awake,i am back to present lol.Look like this dream contain some hidden massage which i will reveal in the future,not now.

1st,Don't upgrade base on your existing rig if it is outdated(S939,P4).You will end up getting less for your money and experience a processor bottleneck when couple with current gen high end graphic card.

2nd,Don't go for prebuild system,go to DIY route.It is easy to assemble a rig nowadays.

3rd,Do more homework before buying.There are a lot of forum around,just google it.

4th,Buy highly overclockable core component.

5th,Recycle your existing non core component will save some money as well(Case,PSU,HDD,Optical Drive).

6th,In some case scenario,go 1 generation back is good.Old high end video card can be had for today mid end card.Explain more in Video Card section.

Let us start now:
1.)Processor
Processor is the core of every computer so it is important to pick a good one.
Depend on your budget,i find the latest Core 2 Duo E8400/Xeon E3110(45nm,gigantic 6MB cache,3ghz,333FSBx9,~RM800) is the most value for money for a gaming rig.They are highly overclockable(~4.2ghz 24/7 on air) and consume less power when compare to thier 65nm counterpart.
For video/photo editing rig,go for Q6600 or Q8450.Q6600 is easier to oc due to 9x multi when compare to 8xmulti of Q9450 but have a higher heat output.Q6600 can be had for rock bottom price now,RM850 or so.Q9450 haven't hit the shelve but should be RM1200 or so.It is basically 2xE8200 on one die.
For budget rig,go for Pentium Dual Core E2160.Basically a water down version of 65nm conroe core,it come with less cache(1MB) and lower bus(200).But these chip is fun to play with!Get it to 3.384ghz before from stock 1.8ghz!!This chip usually hit 3ghz without huge HSF.Higher multiplier don't mean better overclock for some reason so E2160 is the best buy at RM220.

Motherboard
For motherboard,go for those with P35 chipset for now,don't bother with 650i/750i.The good nvidia chipset is 790i but it use DDR3 and the price is uber expensive.For SLI board,go for EVGA A1 revision 680SLI/780SLI,nothing less.
For P35 board,low end have some serious contender,these little board can go 500FSB and cost is ~RM350.These board are Abit IP35E and DFI Blood Iron P35-T2RL.
For midrange market,there are some awesome board with good overclockablity and good layout.These board are Abit IP35 Pro/Foxconn Mars/DFI LP DK P35-T2RS.
For high end CF board,go for DFI LP UT X48-T2R/Asus Rampage Formula,these are seriously the king of the hill when come to performance and have pretty good overclocking reputation.

Ram
For ram,go for value ram if you are really tight on budget.Team Value is good from my knowledge.
For mid level market,Team Elite DDR 2 800 2GB kit is good,those can do DDR 2 1200,5-5-5-15,2.2V!Pretty good for RM195 ram but newer one is bad.
For high end/overclocker market,go for Team Xtreem DDR 2 800 C4 2GB Kit(RM270!!) or Crucial Ballistix DDR 2 800C4 2GB Kit but it is a mixed bag,some are good some are bad,my Tracer DDR 2 800C4 pair is not very good,only can do 564mhz,5-4-4-12@2.35V.
For 4GB Kit,go for Crucial Ballistix 4GB DDR 2 800 Kit,i have seen 570mhz or so,5-5-5-15 before and best of all,it only cost RM375!!
And,don't bother with Corsair/OCZ DDR 2 800 2GB Kit,these are value ram with heatspreader slap on it.

Video Card
For video card,this is like the turbocharger for gaming rig,there are several type avalible on market.Don't go for those model with more memory but slower speed(GDDR2).Go for those with less but faster memory(GDDR3).256MB DDR3 can eat 1GB DDR 2 due to more bandwidth.Sometime,go for used high end card instead of brand new mid end card.These card is more powerful and have the wow factor.
For entry level market,don't go for 8600GT/2600XT,go for used Radeon X1800/19X0 or Nvidia Geforce 7800/79x0,these are better card for the same price.
For mid end market,don't go for 9600GT.Go for used 8800GTS G80 A3 revision,these are some serious card.These card can overclock from stock 500core/1400shader to 700core/1800shader.This card can eat 9600GT and keep up with 8800GT at about the same speed with latest driver.
For higher mid end market,8800GT/3870 is still a good buy.Galaxy 8800GT 512MB@RM725 is the best deal,it is pre vmod from factory and come with dual slot cooler.clawhammer of LYN have done 15k with dual core(E8200@4ghz),all on air!
For highest end market,i think HD3870X2 is the best buy but i like Nvidia 9800GX2 more through.Can't go wrong with one of the card,both is seriously powerful card.
I heard red camp is coming out with HD3850X2,should be an attractive option if the price is right.

Mose of your know what is cockroach is it?
Today,during history lesson,cockroach come into my classmate bag.
At the beginning,i don't know what happened but she and her friend was hiding under the table,i was like WTF?Well,i just continue doing my own stuff.After a while,another classmate come and take everything off the bag.I don't see a cockroach inside but that what she claimed.
And so i discover they are scare of cockroach.After that,i write Cock Roach Muhaha on white board.
Haha.
Oh and the march test result is announce today.I get no6 in class with an average of 61%,not too shabby consider i don't study hard and don't make any real prior revision.

4.5ghz SPI 1M Challange

As some of you know i like overclocking and my favorite benchmark is Super PI and 1M calculation in particular.
These few months of overclocking give me some experience and i learn some tweak along the way.Hehe,i won't let out to stranger but it is there if you know where to look for.
